Desired Background

  • You will take ownership of developing the back end and setting up the infrastructure.

  • You can plan, estimate, and own the deliveries of your project

  • You can design & implement a scalable, resilient backend.

  • You can collaborate with the engineering and product teams to deliver the right strategic and tactical goals for the business

  • You can make product decisions and convert user features into system design and architecture following the best practices of code architecture.

  • You are experienced with one or more general programming languages. Ability to learn other coding languages as needed.

 

Required Skills

  • 2+ years experience building backend.

  • Experience working with managed cloud providers, such as AWS

  • Has worked with Mysql, PHP (Laravel), PostgreSQL, Node.js, and Express

  • Excellent understanding of the JavaScript and Typescript ecosystem

  • Experience working with RDS and/or Aurora

  • Ability to choose the right algorithm, data structure, and design pattern for the given problem statement
